Police: former worker breaks into McDonald’s safe

Jefferson City police say they have arrested a man wanted for breaking into the McDonald’s on Missouri Boulevard east of Dix Road, escaping with over $3,000 in cash from the safe.

Investigators claim Antonio L. Moore, 22, also damaged the surveillance system beforehand.

The burglary originally happened January 4. Moore used to work for McDonald’s, before he was arrested on Thursday.

He was taken to the Cole County jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
