Columbia business owner charged with meth possession
A Columbia business owner is now facing federal charges, accused of having drugs.
Troy C. Lewis was charged in federal court Friday with possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Lewis is the owner of The Tint Shop.
An affidavit claims officer stopped a car on Rangeline Road on Thursday and found Lewis hiding in the back seat. Police searched the car and say they found four bags of marijuana and also 170 grams of methamphetamine.
Lewis has a detention hearing scheduled for Monday.
