Eugene man arrested for stealing vehicle after foot chase

A Cole Co. man was arrested Thursday afternoon after leading Camden Co. deputies on a foot chase.

Deputies responded to a tip of a possible stolen car in the 200 block of Camelot Drive in Camdenton.

When deputies got to the scene, they saw the stolen car, and 34-year-old Max Vance of Eugene fled the area on foot.

Vance was eventually arrested a short time later on several outstanding warrants and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for minor injuries he sustained in the chase.

The vehicle was taken back to Cole County where it was originally stolen from.
