Burglary investigation at Walmart heiress’s home

ABC 17 News has confirmed Columbia Police are investigating a burglary Thursday night.

Police said it happened around 8:30 Wednesday night in the 1500 block of east Nifong Blvd. Records show Walmart heiress Nancy Laurie and her husband, Bill, a former St. Louis Blues owner live at that address.

The male victim apparently came home to find someone inside.

The suspect then ran off and got away with some property.

Columbia Police said the investigation is ongoing.
