Police respond to shooting in north Columbia

ABC 17 News confirmed police found multiple shell casings Tuesday night after a shooting in north Columbia.

Officers were called to Edenton Boulevard and Bodie Drive around 6:39 p.m. Tuesday.

The department got several calls from people in the neighborhood who heard the shots. They searched the area and found shells just north of Edenton Ridge Apartments, but did not receive any reports of property damage or anyone who is hurt.

Officials say no other information, including a possible suspect description, is currently available at this time.
