Evening Snow Update: Snow moves out by midnight

The final band of snow with this storm system will move to the southeast and out of Mid-Missouri by midnight. Light to moderate snow is expected in this narrow band with additional snow accumulation of 1 to 1.5″ snow.

This band of snow will move through Columbia from 9-10 PM, Jefferson City 9:30 to 10:30 and southeast to near I-44 by midnight. Skies will remain mostly cloudy through morning with temperatures falling into the upper teens and wind chills at 10-14 to start the day Wednesday.

Total snow amounts are expected near an inch at the Lake of the Ozarks, 1.5″ to 2″ near Jefferson City and 2.5″ near Columbia. Higher amounts of 4″ are expected from HWY 24 north.
