Newscast Director

The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking a full-time Newscast Director for its newsroom in Columbia. The director must have the ability to work under pressure.

Job Description:

The successful candidate’s duties will include directing and technical directing of newscasts, pre-production, graphics, managing studio assistants and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Applicants must have the knowledge off all newscast production, ability to handle many tasks at once while leading the behind the scenes of a live newscast and good management skills. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Chyron CG products is helpful. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or related field is preferred. Previous newsroom experience is a plus. Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver’s license and pass a drug test and background check.
