One man hit by gunfire near Mexico, Mo. home

Police in Mexico, Mo., are working to find out what happened, after several gunshots are fired around an apartment, hitting one man.

Officers were called to Breckenridge Drive near Fairground around 10 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was able to drive himself to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he has already been treated and released.

Investigators are still trying to speak with nearby residents to get more details about the shooting.
