Cars burglarized at Columbia motel

Police also say there is no suspect information, after thieves hit a string of parked cars outside a Columbia motel.

Officers were called early Wednesday to Red Roof Inn, near Providence Road and I-70. Several customers who were staying there noticed some things missing from their vehicles, which were either unlocked or unsecured.

The items include a pair of boots, some tools, and a laptop computer.
