Winter weather hits Mid-Missouri

Mid-Missouri was hit was its first significant snowfall of the season Saturday morning. The storm started in the southwestern part of the state, moving up toward Columbia and Jefferson City.

The heavy, wet snow creating slick and slushy road conditions for drivers. MoDOT says they were prepped and ready for the storm. They say in the 18 counties in its Central District, MoDOT has 225 snow plows out and on patrol for the storm.
