Police: Alcohol a possible factor in crash

Police in Jefferson City said alcohol was a possible factor in a car crash.

It happened on East Elm Sunday night.

Jefferson City Police said a car lost control while turning a corner and crashed into a utility pole.

The driver was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Monday, crews will work to repair the utility pole and said it could cause traffic delays in the 1400 block of East Elm.
