Firefighters respond to fire at Federal Recycling Center
Crews with the Jefferson City Fire department responded to reports of a fire at the Federal Recycling Center Monday night.
The department was called out just before 5 p.m. to the facility on Main Street. Crews arrived on scene to heavy equipment on fire. It was put out and firefighters remained on scene to ventilate smoke from inside the building. We’re told no one was injured.
