Columbia police respond to reports of shots fired

Columbia, Mo. – Columbia police officers were called to a neighborhood in northeast Columbia for reports of shots fired early Sunday morning.

The calls came in around 5:34 a.m. according to police about possible gunshots in the 1400 block of Greensboro Drive.

Police say they found multiple shell casings. One officer on scene told ABC 17 they found up to six casings.

No one was hit by the bullets but one home was damaged. Police also say that home has been hit by gunfire before.
