MU faculty writes letter in support of Melissa Click
ABC 17 News Wednesday obtained a copy of a letter signed by dozens of MU faculty in support of MU Communications professor Melissa Click.
The letter was sent to top administrators including Interim Chancellor Hank Foley and Interim System President Mike Middleton.
Click came under fire last fall for her actions during the protests that led to the resignation of MU System President Tim Wolfe.
Click was seen on video trying to keep journalists away from protesters, calling for “muscle” to remove one student from the protest space.
She issued an apology, but her courtesy title in the School of Journalism was removed.
