American Red Cross focuses efforts on Missouri, Illinois flood victims
The American Red Cross is focusing its efforts on helping flooding victims in Missouri and Illinois.
Sunday, the organization ran shelters in Arnold and Cape Girardeau as well as in two Illinois cities.
So far, nearly 600 people have stayed in the shelters overnight. The Red Cross has also given out nearly 18,000 meals and snacks to those affected by the floodwaters.
Fifteen people have died from the flooding in Missouri. And at least 10 people have died in Illinois.
