Maries Co. woman arrested following drug search warrant

A Maries County woman was arrested this week after deputies searched a home at 12018 Highway Y.

Deputies found meth, several items of drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun stolen from Springfield.

43-year-old Paula Dowdy of Vienna is charged with possession of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She’s already had prior convictions on other felonies.

Dowdy is still in the Maries Co. Jail on a $10,000 bond.
