Illinois takes Braggin’ Rights from MU for 3rd straight year

Illinois took Braggin’ Rights from Mizzou for the third straight year Wednesday night in St. Louis. The Fighting Illini won 68-63 over the Tigers, despite a career night from Wes Clark.

Clark finished with a career high 21 points. He went 4-6 from three-point range. Kevin Puryear was Mizzou’s second leading scorer. He had 12 points in 19 minutes.

Malcolm Hill led the Fighting Illini with 21 points.

Mizzou drops to 5-6 on the season. The Tigers next game is Tuesday, December 29, at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
