Garth Avenue back open after demolition work on I-70 bridge

UPDATE: Garth Avenue is now open after closing down Tuesday for demolition work on the old I-70 bridge. The closure was expected to last into Thursday morning, but the work was completed early.

Rangeline also opened back up early during its closure for similar work this week.

Crews have been tearing down the old bridges after building new ones over the two roads. The project will also replace the bridge over Business Loop near West Boulevard.

The work is part of an $18 million-project replacing overpasses at West Boulevard and the Business Loop, Garth Avenue and Rangeline.
