Lawyer gets his license back after illegal political contributions
Several years later, a lawyer now has his license back after hiding illegal political contributions with a state-funded insurance firm based in Columbia.
Prosecutors said Edward Griesdieck funneled $5,000 to the Democratic party.
He billed the money through Missouri Employers Mutual, near Highway 63 and Broadway.
At the time, the group’s CEO was former Governor Roger Wilson.
Wilson also used the company to hide personal funds for Democrats after donating another $3,000.
Both pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges.
