Police searching for 2 suspects in armed robbery following Craigslist meeting

Columbia Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery Monday afternoon.

Police told our ABC 17 News crews on the scene the two suspects pointed a gun at the victim after they arranged a meeting on Craigslist.

The victim was not injured, but drove off after the encounter.

Police told ABC 17 the suspects are a white woman and a black man, and believe they ran into a house on Lakeview.

After 4:00 p.m., ABC 17 News crews saw officers with their guns drawn towards a home near the intersection of Lakeview and Fay, which is just north of Business Loop 70 east of Rangeline.

The house was cleared as of 4:30 p.m. and the suspects are still at large.
