Brief evacuation at Jefferson Building near governor’s mansion

ABC 17 News confirmed workers briefly evacuated the Jefferson Building Tuesday morning after a fire sensor was triggered.

Mike O’Connell, the communications director for Missouri Department of Public Safety, says the alarm went off around 11 a.m., and employees cleared the building as a precaution, before they were let back in shortly afterwards.
