Over 15 roads flooded across mid-Missouri

ABC 17 News confirmed crews have shutdown at least 16 roads in mid-Missouri after heavy rain over the weekend, including 11 routes in Cole County and five in Boone County.

On Monday, the Boone County Public Works Department reported closures on Strawn Road between west Broadway and I-70 Drive Southwest, Gillespie Bridge at Coats Lane, Chapel HIll at Gillespie Bridge Road, Wilcox Road between Route E and Oneal Road. A bridges Stone Drive also had high water. ABC 17 News also saw a white car that appeared stuck in flood water Monday morning on Strawn Road.

As of 4:00 p.m. Monday, the following roads were also closed in Cole Co.:

Meadows Ford Road
Murhpy’s Ford Road
Payne Road Vaughn Ford Road North Branch Road Oakland Road East Lohman Road Loesch Road Bainer Road Buffalo Road
