One person injured in Cole County car crash

One woman is recovering at University Hospital after an early morning crash in Cole County Sunday.

It happened on North Teal Bottom Road around 3:30 a.m.

Chelsea Morris, 20, drove off the right side of the road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The car flipped, throwing Morris from the vehicle.

Morris was taken to Capital Region in serious condition.

ABC 17 News checked Monday morning, and Morris had been transferred to University Hospital, where she was in good condition.
