UPDATE: One in custody, one at large in Eldon following car chase

Right now authorities in Eldon have one suspect in custody and are searching for a second man after a car chase that started in Lake Ozark.

The Lake Ozark Police Department tells ABC 17 News officers tried making a traffic stop on a car when the driver took off.

The pursuit led authorities to Eldon, where the suspects got out of the car.

Miller County Sheriff Bill Abbott tells ABC 17 News authorities in Eldon are searching a wooded area on foot near Highway 52 in Eldon.

A K-9 Unit is on scene.

ABC 17 News has crews working to gather more information.
