Columbia woman arrested in connection to an assault with a knife

Around 2:30 Saturday morning, Columbia Police responded to the 1500 block of Native Dancer Drive for reports of a fight involving a knife.

Marli Wilson, 28, of Columbia, was arrested in connection to the incident.

Police say one victim was taken to the hospital. That victim apparently went into surgery, however police say that person’s injuries were considered non-life threatening.

Wilson is facing possible charges of armed criminal action, domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

She is being held in the Boone County Jail on a $50,500 bond.
