ABB in Jefferson City addressing payroll issues

The ABB plant in Jefferson City confirmed to ABC 17 News that it is actively working to resolve payroll issues after a viewer contacted our newsroom.

ABB spokeswoman Melissa Zingle told ABC 17 News said a new payroll system was recently implemented company-wide at ABB.

Zingle said some employees were overpaid and some were underpaid.

She said ABB has been addressing the issues immediately when they are found. A payroll specialist will be on site at the Jefferson City facility all week.

Zingle said the team is currently auditing the new system.

ABB in Jefferson City employs about 800 people.
