Inmate death at mid-Missouri correctional facility

An inmate has died at the Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City.

Authorities said 38-year-old Gregory Medley was found dead at 3:25 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators do not suspect foul pay was involved.

Medley was received by the facility on Jan. 29, 2009.

He was serving 30 years for first-degree assault, armed ciminal action and first-degree robbery from Greene County.

The Missouri Department of Corrections said an autopsy is scheduled.
