Two arrested following chase through Boone, Callaway counties
ABC 17 News has confirmed Monday two people were arrested following an early morning chase through Boone and Callaway counties.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department released the identities of two suspects Monday morning.
24-year-old Stephan Reed of Boone Co. was wanted on several warrants, including robbery, and deputies said he was caught with a stolen laptop at Mizzou.
22-year-old Meghan Glover of Columbia also had a city warrant for her arrest.
Their car ran a red light near I-70 and Rangeline at around 3:00 a.m.
They took off on I-70 heading east, before exiting onto Highway HH near Fulton.
Their vehicle topped 65 mph before deputies used spike strips to stop them near county roads 213 and 220.
Two other passengers were released without charges.
