Plea hearing canceled for sex trafficking suspect
ABC 17 News confirmed Monday’s plea hearing was canceled for a mid-Missouri sex trafficking suspect. Kenyata Miles was indicted on charges involving two victims.
Miles was arrested in May 2013 by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force for suspicion of promoting prosecution and trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, among other charges.
Miles allegedly took women to motel rooms in Columbia and other cities in mid-Missouri for prostitution.
They found Miles after after the picture of a missing juvenile girl turned up on the internet classified ad website.
