Winter-like weekend temperatures
Much colder air will be here by Saturday morning along with gusty northwesterly winds to 30 mph. The day will start with clouds and lingering light rain or snow east of HWY 63 through 8 AM with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s early. Snow is not expected to accumulate except for a brief time on grassy surfaces before melting.
Clouds will quickly clear and temperatures will hover in the mid 30s but will feel more like the lower 20s due to the northwesterly winds of 15-20 mph early in the day. Winds will become lighter by evening but the breeze will still be icy, giving us wind chill readings in the upper teens Saturday evening as temperatures fall into the upper 20s.
Some high clouds will move through Saturday night and it will be bitter with lows near 20 and wind chills overnight in the mid to upper teens.
After a cold start Sunday a southwesterly breeze will usher in slightly warmer temperatures but it will still be chilly. High temperatures will only reach into the low to mid 40s Sunday under mostly sunny skies.
