Student removed for reports of BB gun in Fulton school

ABC 17 News confirmed a student was removed from Fulton Middle School, accused of bringing a BB gun to class on Monday.

Superintendent Dr. Jacque Cowherd told ABC 17 News another student notified someone after reportedly seeing the BB gun on Monday morning.

The principal was immediately notified, before the student and weapon were secured. Fulton police also responded, and the student in question was taken away from the building.

Officials emphasized that no one was hurt and classes were not impacted.
