Volunteers needed for annual Thanksgiving charity

Volunteers are still needed to assemble Thanksgiving dinners for families in need in the Columbia area.

Almeta Crayton’s Community Programs will put Thanksgiving baskets with food donations together this coming Saturday and Sunday.

The organization will also hold its annual holiday dinner at Stevens College on Thanksgiving Day.

The group needs about 100 volunteers, Kentrell Minton with Almeta Crayton’s Community Programs said. Turkeys are also needed.

Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 8164 in Columbia or the organization’s Columbia office at 310 Tiger Lane, Ste. 201.

Anyone interested in volunteering can email Accpvolunteers@gmail.com.
