Man arrested following Halloween crash in Boone Co.
A man accused of hitting a car head-on while he was drunk on Halloween night is behind bars.
On Friday, ABC 17 News confirmed 25-year-old Louis Simmons was just caught over the weekend at a motel bar near the Midway exit off I-70.
Simmons went to the hospital after last month’s crash, but he left before Boone County deputies could arrest him.
One of the cars also caught on fire, east of Columbia off Richland Road.
A person in the other car was treated for injuries. Simmons is now due back in court Tuesday.
