No injuries in Boone County house fire

Firefighters have cleared the scene of a fire at a home on Gillespie Bridge Road.The call came in at around 1;15 a.m. Wednesday morning. Firefighters tell ABC 17 News one person inside woke up and found smoke throughout the home. That person and two pets got out safely and with no injuries.

The cause of the fire is unknown; firefighters say they believe the fire started in the basement.
