Police respond to shooting in north Columbia

Columbia police are investigating after shots are heard in north Columbia Friday night.

Police tell ABC 17 News they found several shell casings at the scene on near Currituck Lane, by the intersection of Edenton Boulevard and Bodie Drive.

A victim was not found at the scene, and so far there is no suspect description. Police also tell us none of the buildings in the area appeared to be damaged.
