Cool, wet start to the weekend

A storm system passing to our south will spread rain into Mid-Missouri Friday night through the first half of the day Saturday. Rain will become likely by midnight and continue through late-morning Saturday before pushing east with showers decreasing through the afternoon Saturday. Rainfall amounts of a half inch to an inch are expected with highest totals near I-44.

Trick-or-treaters will have a dry but cool evening Saturday with cloudy skies and temperatures falling through the low 50s. The wind will stay under 10 mph from the southwest. It will stay dry Saturday night with overnight lows in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy skies. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night as we return to standard time.

November will start off mild and dry Sunday as skies become sunny and temperatures climb through the 60s in the afternoon with a southerly breeze. High temperatures will reach near 70 Sunday.
