Machens sells dealerships, keeps BMW, Mercedes-Benz
The Drewing family announced Wednesday the sale of the Joe Machens dealerships group to McLarty Automotive Group of Little Rock Arkansas.
According to a news release the dealerships will still operate under the Joe Machens name.
Gary R. Drewing Sr., President of Joe Machens Dealerships said in the release, “our valued employees will remain core to the team within the dealerships.”
Mark McLarty, Chairman of McLarty Automotive Group said “Gary and Rusty Drewing have developed an outstanding team and one of the leading dealership groups in the Midwest.”
The Joe Machens BMW and Mercedes-Benz dealerships will continue to be owned by the Drewings and in the future will become BMW of Columbia and Mercedes-Benz of Columbia.
