Third case of shots fired over weekend in south Columbia
Columbia police are investigating another shots fired incident in south Columbia. This is the third shots fired case since Friday. All of them took place within a mile of one another.
The latest incident happened early Sunday morning in the 1400 block of Rolling Rock Drive. Investigators found several shell casings on the ground in the area.
Police said no injuries or damage to property has been reported.
The other two incidents happened past Grindstone on Rock Quarry Road, a few blocks from Rolling Rock Drive. Police said shots were fired Saturday morning and just after noon.
In both cases, police found a bullet hole in the front window of a nearby home and multiple shell casings on the ground. No injuries have been reported in either incident.
