Teen attacked by three men in downtown Columbia

Columbia police are investigating an overnight strong arm robbery Sunday.

Officers responded to an attempted robbery in the 1200 block of Walnut Street just before 3:15 a.m.

Three men attacked a 19-year-old man and tried to take items from him. The three suspects were unsuccessful and ran away before officers got on scene.

Crews took the victim to the hospital for injuries to his face.
