Camden County crash injures driver

One person is recovering after a crash in Camden County Friday.

It happened just before 11:00 p.m. David Hammond, 45, was trying to pass another car on Missouri 7 south of Route Z, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Hammond drove off the left side of the road, over-corrected and hit the other vehicle. His car flipped over and hit a fence.

Crews flew Hammond to Lake Regional Hospital for serious injuries. He has since been treated and released.
