Teen hurt in Jefferson City crash

An 18-year-old woman was hurt following a crash Wednesday afternoon on West Truman Boulevard.

A 62-year-old man was driving a Ford F-150 north through the intersection of West Truman at Horner Boulevard when it hit the front end of another car that was stopped in the southbound left turn lane of West Truman.

The 18-year-old driver was preparing to turn left onto the Highway 50 East ramp when the vehicles collided. Her Pontiac Grand Prix suffered extensive damage, and she had apparent, non-disabling injuries at the scene.

The driver of the F-150 and his passenger did not receive any injuries.

All three were wearing seat belts.
