Authorities looking for chase suspect near Randolph, Boone Co. line

Authorities in Randolph County are searching for a suspect that led deputies on a high-speed chase through northern Boone County into Randolph County Monday night.

Boone County Sheriff’s Detective Tom O’Sullivan told ABC 17 News deputies chased the suspect through the northern part of the county after they determined he was driving a car with stolen license plates out of Sikeston, Mo. The car is described as a newer model black Chevy Impala. A man and woman were both spotted in the car.

The driver crossed into Randolph County after 6:30 p.m. Monday where Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols told ABC 17 deputies were searching for the driver on a gravel road near Highway 63.

Emergency dispatchers said the driver reached speeds up to 110 mph as he was heading north on Highway 63.

ABC 17 News has a crew at the scene.
