Two people injured in Boone County crash

Emergency crews responded to a two-car crash north of Columbia Sunday.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. on Highway VV and Wildwood Street.

A 28-year-old man drove his car across the median, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper on scene. The man’s car his another vehicle head on, heavily damaging the front end of both cars.

Emergency crews transported the 28-year-old and the other driver, a 41-year-old woman, to University Hospital.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.
