Memorial service honors fallen Columbia firefighter

A fallen Columbia firefighter was honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service Sunday.

Bruce Britt was killed in the line of duty in February 2014. Britt was evacuating a student apartment complex on the University of Missouri Campus when a second story walkway collapsed.

Sunday, President Obama spoke at the 34th annual memorial service in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Obama recognized Britt among 84 firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
