Early morning gunfire hits one home in north Columbia

The Columbia Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that happened early Saturday morning in the 5400 block of Baseline Place, which is just off of Brown School Road.

Officers were called to the scene just before 1 a.m. They found several shell casings in the area.

One home was hit by multiple rounds and officers found intact bullets inside the walls. Two adults and three children were home at the time, but no one was injured.

CPD asks you to call them or CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS if you have any information about the shots fired incident.
