Cooler than average temperatures this weekend

The weather pattern is stagnant right now keeping us dry through the weekend with cooler than average temperatures. Expect cool nights with lows in the 40s with temperatures reaching into the 60s during the day as a northerly breeze picks up in the afternoon.

The Tigers will have good weather as they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday. Tailgaters will be greeted by chilly temperatures Saturday morning but mostly sunny skies will warm afternoon temperatures into the lower 60s by the end of the game.

Tropical moisture will rotate in with upper level winds coming in from the northeast Saturday night and Sunday, sending clouds into Mid-Missouri. The air looks too dry in lower levels for rain to develop but some sprinkles can’t be ruled out east of HWY 63 Sunday as the clouds thicken.
