City leaders to discuss possible nuisance property
City leaders and community members will meet Friday morning to discuss the status of a local property.
They’ll have to decide whether or not to declare 301 Sandford in Columbia is a public nuisance.
Deputy City Manager Tony St. Romaine said residents are invited to share their thoughts on the property at the meeting as well as city leaders.
Community development director Timothy Teddy will be the hearing officer.
St. Romaine said he doesn’t believe leaders will decide the status of the property today.
He said the ruling could take a few days.
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and will be at Columbia City Hall.
