Man accused of leading police on chase faces new charges

A man arrested for a police chase that left two officers hurt in Jefferson City is facing new charges.

Charles Roark is a prior felon convicted for drugs and assault.

Roark was federally indicted Monday for having a gun.

He was arrested in July after trying to run from a traffic stop.

One officer hurt his leg and called for a backup.

The other was injured trying to arrest Roark.
