Cooler Temperatures are Expected to Arrive by Mid-week.

A cold front is expected to surge southward into Missouri on Tuesday. Although this cold front won’t bring much in terms of instability to the atmosphere, it will pave the way for the cooler Canadian airmass to push through our region. Temperatures will be dropping into the mid-70s by Wednesday, which will persist for the rest of the work week. Normal temperatures for this time of year are around 74 degrees, but temperatures have the potential to drop below this mark, especially in our northern counties.

An additional frontal boundary is expected to march through our region for the weekend, which will bring slight chances of showers and thunderstorms to the forecast. So far, the best chance for rain appears to be on Saturday.
