Crews working to fix another water leak in Miller Co. town

City crews in Iberia were working to fix a leak that sent water shooting up through a residential street Wednesday afternoon.

The city notified the Missouri Department of Natural Resources of the leak on West Main Street.

ABC 17 News took several calls from residents who live in the area.

The leak was about a block from another underground leak that ABC 17 News reported on earlier this month.

The DNR and state geologist are investigating an underground leak that has been impacting a home on Walnut street for several years.

Ruby Ash, who lives at the home on Walnut Street, told ABC 17’s Daniel Winn that the leak is posing a safety hazard to people in the neighborhood, and has a foul smell.

The Missouri Water Association will be on Ash’s property to investigate on Monday.
